Hyperbole is not exempt by the victims’ lawyers, who call this the biggest “fraudulent transfer in United States history.”
Despite the legal jargon, J&J does not really believe that this bankruptcy will last. But it is a way to push for this $8.9 billion settlement to keep pressure on plaintiffs.
